HIGH4 is a four-member South Korean boy band that debuted in 2014 under N.A.P Entertainment. The group consists of members Sunggu (leader & vocal), Alex (rapper & dancer), Myunghan (vocal), and Youngjun (rapper & maknae). They officially debuted into the Korean entertainment industry on April 8, 2014 with the song “Not Spring, Love, or Cherry Blossoms” featuring IU. In fact, HIGH4 is the only K-pop rookie who has duet with Korea’s No.1 female soloist IU!
HIGH4 is described as a group of four All-Round Entertainers specializing in musical, singing, acting and dance. Before the release of their two digital singles featuring top singers like IU and Lim Kim, HIGH4 had the chance to participate in the Hallyu Musical “Summer Snow” OST and performances as part of its cast in Osaka and in Donggyeong in front of million audiences. “Summer Snow” was a popular Japanese drama adapted for musicals starring popular Korean idols. On January 2014, they also performed on the “NAWA LIVE C-Real & HIGH4 in TOKYO”, then went back to Japan for “HIGH4 SUMMER SNOW LIVE.”
All members of HIGH4 are interested and good in Hip Hop, Dance and R&B genres. Alex is a Korean English speaker who is also a radio DJ for Arirang Radio “Super K-pop” 2015. HIGH4 has expressed high anticipation in visiting Malaysia and eager to bring their very first performance to their Malaysia fans!
Some examples of famous tracks by HIGH4 are “Not Spring, Love, or Cherry Blossoms” featuring popular female soloist IU with 26 million Youtube views, “A Little Close” featuring popular female soloist Lim Kim, “Headache”, “Day By Day” and “Baby Boy”.
HIGH4 has been nominated in Melon Music Awards 2014 and Golden Disk Awards 2014. They have also appeared in various Music programmes such as Inkigayo, Show Champion, Music Core, The Show and After School Club.
HIGH4 has finally get a chance to meet their fans in Malaysia for the first time ever this coming 4th – 6th September 2015 for “HIGH4 First Showcase Promo Tour Malaysia 2015” presented by New Pro Star. We have been bringing hallyu wave to the shore of Malaysia since 2012 with a star-studded line up of the idols from South Korea such as Running Man Sparta Kim Jong Kook, M.I.K, AlphaBAT, The Boss (DGNA), EvoL and K-Much.
