SG KPOP CON aims to be an annual event which celebrates the union of culture and interest of K-pop among the locals of Singapore. The event will not only host a K-pop competition where the grand prize winner will be selected to represent Singapore in Korea, (Inclusive of air travel and live expenses) but will also set to showcase various performances by both local and overseas artistes, highlighting the beauty and culture of the two countries.
Online Audition Call
SGKPOPCON 2015 is looking for Singapore’s best K-pop talent to represent Singapore in theKBS Kpop World Festival and Kpop Festival by the Visit Korea Committee. The winner of the Best Cover Dance Title will get an all-expense paid trip to Korea and also an opportunity to perform at the K-POP Festival 2015. The winner of the Best Vocal and Best Performance will get the chance to enter the online competition for KBS K-POP WORLD FESTIVAL as the Singapore representatives. Join the online audition call and submit your audition videos from now till 7th June 2015. The shortlisted finalists will then be invited to battle it out on a live stage! (Note that each performance is only entitled to win one title)
Selection Stage
The final selection stage will be held as a part of SGKPOPCON 2015 where the competition will be held in the midst of other performances, celebrating the fusion of both Korean and local cultures. SGKPOPCON 2015 will also mark the 40th year anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and Singapore.
